hello my many subscribers and worshipers, while the youtube acount “wajigma” is still in the works with movies and stuff, i thought id introduce myself as the creator of this websites other half. i got the camera, and the creativity (no not really) but basically there are 2 of us (so far). until i see its worth it to publish my real name feel free to refer to me as “this that and the other guy” or barbosamauler.
Over the past couple years America has seen an influx of superhero movies. Superman Returns, Spiderman (1, 2, and 3), The Fantastic Four (1, did anyone see 2 for a reason other than to see Jessica Alba in a skin-tight suit?), Batman Begins, and more.
More or less, all of them have been average, or far below. Maybe Batman Begins and Superman Returns a little above, but overall, none of them were great.
Here comes Iron Man (trailer/preview below, waiting for Black Sabbath to stop playing in your head, and perhaps on air guitar because it’s just that awesome), and I have to say, they’ve finally got it right. They have captured true character, while staying true to it’s comic book roots. Not to mention the fact that the action scenes rock. I don’t know how to say it, but Iron Man is the first superhero/comic book movie that has it. What is it? Like I said there’s no way to express it, but it’s defanitally there. A must see.
hello guys this that and the other guy here, i unlike my wordy friend over there am gonna keep this short and simple. if you havent seen this movie see it. if u dont have money sneak in, if uve seen it allready see it again. trust me ull love it
but for a real review robert downey jr. plays tony stark, a world renown weapons manufacturer who besides creating the sickest home computer system ever also can smooth talk even the toughest of women.
but if that wasnt enough this movie has all but not limited to: a genius little indian man running through a cave gunning down terrorists, a fight between a flying robot guy talking on his cell phone and 2 fighter jets, a fire extinguisher with attitude, a guy getting pulled through solid cement, and oh yeah IRON MAN!!!!!!!
with a combination of guns, robots, women, explosions and spectacular acting i can safely say this is the best movie ive seen all year. (p.s. stay after the credits)
Okay, someone please explain. Supposedly, Rev. Wright and Barak Obama have known each other for twenty odd years. Now, with everything Rev. Wright has said over the past couple of weeks, polls show that it is hurting Obama. You would think that if Rev. Wright and Obama have been friends for so long, that Rev. Wright would want his friend to win the pramaries.
The US’s political system is definitely not perfect, but it’s damn better than most out there. However, I just can’t help but noting that perhaps this primary buisness has gone on for a little to long. Why don’t we just have the primaries withing a month or so of eachother. I know that the candidates want to visit the states and all, but come on, this is flat out stupid. I’d even go for within three months of eachother. In fact, with this whole Clinton-Obama stretch, the democratic party is possible hurting itself. McCain can sit back and prepare for the presidentials, but Obama and Clinton are racing across the country from state to state. In fact, if this crazy system is here to stay, why don’t states bordering eachother have primaries at similar times. This way at least the candidates can move from general are to general area. I’m not dissing the way our country works, I’m just saying sometimes it might be worth taking a step back at looking at the picture on a whole.
In the Pistons-Magic NBA game the other night, at the end of the third quarter the Pistons had the ball, and Chauncy Billips hit a three. The only problem–the clock had frozen. It stopped at 4.8 seconds. The officials gathered, and rulled that the basket counted. Today however, the NBA came out and said that the basket should not have counted, but the officials made the right move bacause in that situation it is agains the rules to use instant replay.
Huh?
Let me repeat that: Huh?
Excuse me, but the NBA is the best of the best. The cream of the crop. A worldwide league. You’re telling me that in the highest league in the sport of basketball officials can’t look at the footage the whole world is watching on TV to make the right call. That’s ridiculous! Let the refs look at the replay and make the right call. It did not end up costing the Magic the game as they lost by more than three, but if this ever happens in the future let’s get it right.
