McCain and Global Warming

Sen. McCain gave a speech the other day on global warming. He said that for the next (long) eight years it would be terrible if nothing was done about global warming. I have one comment:
Good man.
Finally someone is caring about one of the biggest problems facing the world today. However, I can not help but wonder if this is just another thing said to win votes, and nothing will actually happen if he is elected. All I can say is that politics have become pretty pathetic today here in the US of A.
