this that and the other guy would like to pose a question to the general public (gya and the bold feel free to answer)
today in my track championships i did three events, the 110 meter high hurtles, the 300 meter hurtles, and the triple jump ( insert joke about how lame triple jump is). now the 110 hurtles i amazed myself, though i came in 10th place out of 18 or so, i set a personal record for myself by 1 second (for those who dont know one second in a 110 race is like 1 minute in a 2 mile pretty darn good). same thing in the triple jump i stepped up to the line and jumped a full foot farther than i had ever jumped before, the only problem came in the 300 hurtles, in that race not only did i finish 4th to last and last in my heat, on the last hurtle i messed up my jump fell skinned my knee and pulled a groin muscle. it was mortifying, now i have to ask…
is that a good season? in terms of school would 2 A+ and a C be good or even passable?

In a statistical sense, two 100%’s and a 70% would give you a 90% overall.
However, I see this as getting an A in math/science, and a C in history.
My point? They are independent variables, not dependant, meaning one has not bearing on the other. I recommend taking how you did overall in the three events individually, making a grade from them, and then almost mentally writing a report card for yourself in track. From this I would say you are doing extremely well in two events, but have to work on one. I think giving yourself an overall grade would be downgrading your accomplishments and hiding what you must work to achieve.

Oh, and I fully agree with your point on my last post.
Hi I’m “The Bold” (as my friends call me) and I’m the third guy. I was in on it from almost the beginning and I’ve finally gotten the time to log on. Baseball is my thing, or as my friends and I like to say my “ness” (as in cool-ness w/o the prefix) is baseball. However I love sports in general and I can also talk football and basketball plus any of the above for college.
See you guys around the site!
The Bold
hehe the bold, we just call him that so he shuts up. hows it going guys this that and the other guy again. once again i dont have any interesting ideas of my own to post so instead ive decided to cynically comment on the post of my fellow lowlives. any way yah there may or may not be a fourth guy jumping on our “bandwagon of success” with our rocking 12 hits a day if so ive saved him the trouble of introducing himself by saying that his name is either the quitter, the lesser, the looser, the lowly, and in cases of him showing some value to mankind as a species “the ski cap”.
This youtube video got so popular (3.3 million views), Discovery Channel is actually making a 1-hour special on it.
How awesomly cool is that? It just goes to show that anyone can become famous through the internet, even a guy who gets lucky in Africa and happens to have a camera on him.
This blog was made to compliment (but not replace) the youtube account wajigma. You can check back here for a variety of things including videos (made by us here at wajigma or others we like), reactions to political, pop culture, and sports related events, and much, much more!
