What a bust. After a stunning Microsoft confrence (more on that later), Nintendo did nothing but bust. Not a mention of Mario, Link, or Samus. It was all about how they have reached the non-gamer, and how gaming is succesful now at appealing to everyone. But what about the hard-core gamers like me who like Nintendo’s franchises. The people who have been loyal to Nintendo are now being cheated. I feel like I should throw my Wii out the window and get a XBox 360 instead, they are defanitaly leading in the “games” category. I can’t wait for Fable II.
As a Nintendo fan I feel cheated and robbed. Nintendo has forgotten about the hardcore gamer, and given up. I don’t think they realize how many loyal hardcore gamers they have, and if they keep treating us like this, the number is sure to drop.
What a lousy showing, Nintendo is failing, and they don’t even care.
What a bust.
