As you may have read TTATOG and I (GYA) had the opportunity to hear DJ MacHale, author of Pendragon speak a week ago about is newest book, Raven Rise. During this speech he said something very interesting, and that is that in the final book, the goal will not be to find out the answer to the “secrets” (for those of you who have read the book, just think of any question Bobby has asks enough times to make you roll you eyes when you hear it again), rather you will find out the answer to all of them in the first 100 pages, and then read the finale of the saga knowing them all.

that being said im sure that bobby will have some sort of adventure as he finds these answers, all and all i think this upcoming book is going to a very entertaining (but monotonously long) conclusion to a very good saga.

As an avid fantasy reader, this is my list of the top five current fantasy series in which the final book has not been published, and their websites.
#5) “The Keys to the Kingdom” by Garth Nix www.scholastic.com/titles/keys/index (no official website known)
#4) The “Artemis Fowl” series by Eoin Colfer www.artemisfowl.com
#3) The “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” Series By Rick Riordan www.rickriordan.com
#2) “The Inheritance Cycle” By Christopher Paolini www.alagaesia.com
#1) The “Pendragon” Series by DJ MacHale www.thependragonadventure.com
Stay tuned for the best fantasy series of all time.

this that and the other guy courteously disagrees with these statements posted so boldly by the overly smart gya. fantasy series do not stop until people stop reading them so u cannot possibly exclude series like harry potter, and lord of the rings (thats a joke though no offensive statement). also im still holding my breath with pendragon, the books have been in a steady decline since about half way through book 6, so far there have been: less action, more useless monologues, less insight into the inner workings of the territories (actually only in the 8th) no comic relief, no underlying metaphors, and finally the thing ive hated from the beginning of the series… what can saint dane not do?! seriously he has the lamest powers that apear out of no where, its like ok we are gonna win. oh wait, the bad guy found a loophole that allowed him to gain a power that directly negates our master plan. o well now a 3 page metaphor and back to square one
